i would look into IA 20.1's or sundown saz-3000d's instead of the maxxsonics (hifonics). cheaper amps with much better build quality.

They get loud for sure. but its not all that easy. These things Flex like hell and trying to get that pressure up front is another story.

hell flex on the front window with them 10's these vans get loud REAL easy.

Yea the Coppers will do you fine. Tuning them to 31 i wouldn't recommend 38 to 40,with 12 to 16 sq in if port per net cube it awesome. They will still pound the lows. thats BME click playing on tuned 40 cycles just to give you a idea. Aq is the real designer and builder of that sub. The rest is just AQ knock off's There is no substitute for AQ. SAme way alot of companies knock off DD. Cough Cough "Konaki" Get the AQ's man. AlmostInfamous1 ALmost read man. a 10 on 3200watts seems a bit much would like to see vid when its done.

I'm going to be doing 4 HDC3 10's with the copper coils in my blow-through in my truck each one with a hifonics xx colossus II at 2ohms getting 3200rms DJ said the copper coils are louder and can handle the power just to not get to gain happy. How did you like the 10's? My box is going to be tuned to about 31 or 32hz.And how do they compare to the AB HD's and the Zapco's and SPL dynamics? They all look cosmeticaly the same but DJ said none of them have the same motors as his HDC3's or soft parts

Yea it did pretty good. 4 10's on 6K. No wall and in a minivan with none holding the windows or door. 52.6 Sealed on the dash @ 37 cycles. Keep in mind this is a Daily setup. It plays music around the low 52 on the Lab. I sense pulled them out and have something else in there. Thanks for the comment

Umm yea WAY to much IMO. But its all on how you use them. AS far as idle current goes ill talk to DJ and find that out for you.

U think an aq2200d on a 10" aq sdc2.5 wired at 2 ohms a little too much, and what is the aq2200ds's idle current draw? thx.
