I served peacekeeping; my Dad served in VNam; seems someone in my family fought somewhere. yea in regards to the army comment. Much respect goes out to all of those men and women. My friend smokes bud and got a 1500+ on his SAT, he's an infantryman in the army. These are brave, smart, up-standing people.

was in the first gulf war. ive seen the horrors of war first hand. freedom isnt free. im not agreeing with war. should be avoided at all cost but sometimes is needed. yes the recruiters suck

no offense but have you actually tried to join the service...i mean, theres at most a couple hundred thousand soldiers actually doing something warlike or whatever but there are millions doing other things...the services were created for emergencies or war and crisis but thats not why the majority of ppl join- more so for the education and travel and experience. But the way that recruiteers and military service men entice teenagers is pathetic and makes our service leaders look bad.
