Am i missing the point here or is this seriously geeky? I mean, you can do all of these things with your real, tangible, friends. You must be kinda lonely if you think this is like, the next big thing. Don't get me wrong its a good idea, but some of you are getting waaaayyy too excited over the idea of a second vurtual cyber life.

The Closed Beta is "Rumoured" to be out today at 16:00, and people will get invites so this aint a public release, the public release comes out in a few weeks. Only the beta testers will be able to get invites to the closed beta. And the Open Beta which comes out in a few weeks is the public release, check the Playstation Offical Forums for more details

whoever told you two years is bullshitting you, every single website says beta is coming soon, really soon...possibly tomorrow, and the actual full home is december or the first quarter of 2009, not two years

its open beta and if it is going to be released tomorrow would make the most sense, since the playstation store is updated every thursday, makes sense that it would come out on thursday, not wednesday
