i'd actually rather listen to someone that sings remotely in key. if she just sang the song how it's supposed to be sung and maybe added a few TASTEFUL parts, it wouldn't have been an issue. if you don't agree with my opinion that's fine. don't be an asshole about it.

wow. jill scott is horrible. she deserves to have her vocal cords removed for destroying such a beautiful song. 2:10-2:37 and 3:30-3:50 sounded like a dying cat.
