education is the most important asset in life, unfortunately people don't realize in America that the government encourages the media to show provocative amusing TV shows to people so that education numbers will reduce, and there doing that because they dont want smart people to interfere with what they want to do in politics and the government is well aware of this its just that they want to control the world like an emperor

japan students dont use calculaters, they just figure it out in there brain, they are as good as calculaters, so they dont need them, its what i heard, but just find that info on the net ^_^

agree 100%. Why are we learning math when we can enter it on a computer, why are we getting forced to solve mather equiations in school and not let us have a calculator. Its F'ing BS. take away the trash and replace math with a computer class. Would be ALOT more useful.

That's what it was like for me at that School back in the early 90's since I first started education at that School and it's not my first School. I had education at a mainstream School in Leeds UK. Education is shit it is at Woodlands School anyway.

Don't have education at Woodlands School UK cause the Teachers there allow Dogs into their School from anyone outside and they put you outside to get attacked by Dogs. They don't teach at Woodlands School. The Teachers and Boarders Staff at Woodladns are psychopaths. Especially Mrs Jennifer Scarf ex Teacher Mrs Concentine and Mr Chris Jolly. The Teachers there bully you till your in trouble from ooutside all over. I wouldn't send my Son & Daughter to Woodlands School if I had my own.

You're asking the wrong question. It isn't whether we are teaching the right stuff, but whether people need teaching at all. In an information rich society, maybe they do better if they are allowed to learn for themselves, the way most people learn how to use a computer or a mobile phone
