I was in high school when this dropped and I liked it waaaaay better than the original. Probably because Lyte/Latifah/Yo-Yo made Brandy a guest star on her own track lol. 90s R&B kinda sux. So does today's R&B, tho....honestly, R&B hasn't been great since the classic soul era. Ever since the 80s when everything got all smoothed out and sappy, R&B has been boring as hell. New Jack Swing and neo-soul--that's about the only good things to come out of the genre in the last 30 years. Just my opinion.
