I wouldn't say it's copying but more like the subject is constantly being used over and over. People say stuff like oh, he copied Russell Peter and etc yet they didn't know that these clips were way before Russell became a hit on Youtube. If you watched Comics Unleashed, he says that Eddie Murphy influenced his style *joke about his mother talking fast* so It's hard to say such and such copied since the material are used by many and that other comedians are influenced by others.
